Important: FCT Bank will NEVER ask for your PIN, password, card CVV or OTP via email, SMS, phone call or social media. If anyone requests this, it is fraud.
Use strong, unique passwords for internet banking. Never use birthdays, names or sequential numbers. Change your password every 90 days and never share it with anyone — including bank staff.
Always verify the sender's email address. FCT Bank emails come from @accessbankplc.com only. Never click suspicious links — type the URL directly into your browser.
One-Time Passwords (OTPs) are personal and expire in minutes. Never share your OTP with anyone who calls claiming to be from the bank. Legitimate bank staff will never ask for your OTP.
Shield your PIN when using ATMs and POS terminals. Inspect ATM card slots for skimming devices. Never hand your card to a third party — even at restaurants, insist on paying at your table.
Never access internet banking on public Wi-Fi networks. If you must, use a VPN. Always log out completely after each banking session and clear your browser cache.
Ensure your mobile number is updated to receive real-time SMS alerts for all account transactions. Report any unrecognised transactions immediately by calling 07003000000.
